The Celtic Dog design is a square knot woven jacquard motif, ending with a chenille border depicting the Celtic Dog.

In Celtic mythology the dog was very highly regarded.  It symbolized loyalty and the strong bond of companionship felt between human and animal.

The dog was also considered to be good luck in the celtic village and the symbol of the dog is commonly found in the decor clothing and jewellery.

The Atlantic colourway is in a deep navy ground with a sea and sky blue chenille border that makes this a very desirable scarf.
