Celtic Beastie Owl Jacquard Scarf
Along with the more common Barn owl and Tawny owl, it is sometimes possible to spot the more unusual Snowy owl in Scotland.
This fabulous scarf is woven in charcoal with a border of marine and light blue chenille depicting a beautiful Celtic owl.
The owl, especially the Barn owl which was considered sacred to the Celts, symbolised wisdom, stealth and initiation and was thought to be clairvoyant and to hold magical powers.
