Our image below shows a rescue dog called Zara, a wee boy called Zafer and our beautiful Border Lambswool Scarf Lagos Funfair. The scarf is made of 100% Lambswool and looks fantastic on all ages.
Our designer Tom Renton took the image of Zara and Zafer, although it proved to be not without difficulty! The plan was for Zara to pull the scarf from Zafer for the caption 'Everyone Loves a Calzeat Scarf', but Zara was not keen. Even the temptation of a digestive biscuit would not entice Zara into action. Tom then put the Scarf around Zara and she ran off round the field thoroughly enjoying herself. After 20 minutes of playful enjoyment Zara eventually came to heel and the photo was taken with Zafer looking mightily unhappy that Zara had the scarf and not him.
Zara was one of a litter of 10 pups born in 2010 at the Scottish SPCA animal rescue and rehoming centre at Mellerstain, Gordon in the Scottish Borders. Zara was successfully rehomed by a loving family from the area.
